While I love the pendant itself and clear glass shade, the wiring that drops down looks and feels like a shoelace. I will be trying to return.

I purchased this pendant light to go above my bar. I loved the look of the old gas lamp aesthetic. The assembly was easy and the screws ensured that the glass was securely attached. My electrician had no issue shortening the braced wire a bit for proper length, and my favorite part was the little knob actually works for turning it on and off! So, if you do get everything wired in and it doesn't work immediately--that's why!
