I am conflicted about this lamp, and still trying to decide whether to pack it back into the box and return it. It's my fault for not thinking it through. It's a good quality piece. The back half of the "arm" doesn't actually fit into my space, so I left it off (put the "top" piece on the back) and put some shims under the base to counter the weight. I liked the clear glass because it wouldn't be visually distracting in a crowded part of the room... however the light is BRIGHT and HARSH without a shade or frosted bulb to diffuse it. If I keep it, I will need a different bulb and perhaps some window film for the shade. The switch is a foot-press button on the cord, which is highly inconvenient for being plugged in behind my chair. I do like the warm reddish tone of the brass.

This lamp is simple yet elegant, a perfect choice for our space! We are very happy with this purchase.

Very easy to set up! This lamp is actually pretty heavy so I am not worried about it tipping over of the quality of it at all. We paired it with a chair that is also from Wayfair.
