These are not gold which is what I ordered. They are more silver and poorly painted and poorly constructed. One of the lamps was wobbly and couldn't be tightened due to the way it was made resulting in a tilt. The lampshade kept swinging due to the tilt and poor design. I ended up giving these away and replacing them with a different lamp/
