Doesn't light the room well, produces weird shadows and you can see the crystal in the light that comes through vs just a flood of light. The light temperature can be adjusted with a switch inside the unit and the three options are basic. If you want to change it after, you'll need to open it up to change it which is VERY impractical. Very unfortunate purchase, like many others on this site.
