This ceiling fan is very pretty the crystals have a quartz type of surface that makes them sparkle more than the flat smooth crystals that are in some of Wayfair's products. However, the one major downside of this ceiling fan is the assembly of the crystals. I am really disappointed in the manufacturing of this ceiling fan. This ceiling fan has over 30 holes in the lampshade rings where the crystals hang. As you see in the picture you have to attach the smaller crystals to the big crystals and then attach that string of crystals to the lampshade rings. There are no hooks to attach the strings of crystals to the lampshade rings. You have to literally open each tiny circular ring like you do when you attach keys to a key ring. You have to do this to attach the small crystal to the big one and again to hang the string of crystals to the lampshade ring. It is the most ridiculous assembly design I have seen. If you don't want to tear your nails up, you will definitely need some tweezers or tiny sharp-edge pliers. When you are finally done getting the crystals attached to either the bigger crystals or the lampshade ring you have press the tiny circular rings back into shape without breaking them so it looks neat which also not an easy task. Imagine how your key ring loses its tightness and shape after you opened it and put a key on. That is exactly what it looks like after you attach the big and small crystals and after you attach the string of crystals to the lampshade ring. Attaching the crystals is a job in itself.
