This lateen head is exactly what we were looking for. Modern looking, stylish, and the perfect size. Love it!!

Ordered a few outdoor lights to update our recently purchased home. Quite satisfied so far with this lantern. The max wattage is 150, so we tried an LED equivalent to 100 watts and it was way too bright. Eventually came down to a 40 watt equivalent and it's just the right amount of brightness for security, but not blinding to drivers going up the street. Some assembly required but everything arrived in one piece and it seems well made. We did have to drill screw holes into our post, as the ones on this lantern didn't quite line up with the ones from the old light. We also turned on our sprinklers for the first time and noted a fair bit of water got inside, so will keep an eye on that and perhaps will need to secure the glass a bit further. Time will tell, but we really like the look of this light.

I wanted to change our old fashioned external house lights and get a more modern but minimalist look. These are perfect! Iinstalled a clear LED bulb, 6W. They look stunning and my garden is well lit. I am giving these a 4 because...unlike the old light fictures, where one side opened to change the bulb, I now have to unskrew the whole top with the glass, to change the bulb. You will need someone to help you do this.

I really like our new lights. I purchased one for our mailbox and another for a brick wall. They are a lot taller than I expected but that’s a good thing. You will need to purchase a base separately to put it in. I hope they last as long as the ones I replaced which was 21 years.
