Good when it works! It just stops working all of a sudden for several days and then all of a sudden will work again. Sometimes when I change the speed or direction of fan, it will just stop working. I don't recommend and now it is too late to return.

This fan is a bit larger than I anticipated, so unfortunately I have not been able to install it as I need something to secure and anchor it in place that will support it on the ceiling. That said, it is simply gorgeous, and I love the painted blades, and even love the wood look on the other side! The only reason I am rating this 4 stars is because I have not had a chance to use it yet. I love how it is already wired for a light kit, and the remote control that came with it will be very useful as I have high ceilings in my common area. The remote is even set up to control a light if you choose to install a kit.
