The shade is basically as pictured, however the base is not. This lamp cost far above 1k$ and the cord (which is not shown), sticks out of the top of the base and is a horrible eyesore. The bulb gets super hot instantly and the filial on top does also. The pull chain drags the base. I do not recommend this quality for this price tag and we are returning this item. I also had to pay return shipping even though the item was not as pictured.
