This lamp was a birthday gift to my grandson who recently bought a new home, has new furniture, and needed this lamp for his lonely end table. The catch was no outlet nearby and I searched for a battery operated lamp. This one is absolutely perfect, plus a choice of base colors. My grandson loves it as well!!! It's beautiful!

The lamp looks great! Just like the picture. I am disappointed about the amount of light it has. If you do not plan to use it to read by, it is just perfect. It provides very nice ambience. But, it does not put out enough light to sit in a chair with the lamp on the table beside you to read, etc. It will not help to light up a room. In the first picture, the lamp is on; in the second picture, it is off. Not much difference. I have shopped at Wayfair many times, and this is the first item I would give less than 5 stars! I have always been perfectly satisfied with Wayfair and will continue to shop on their website.

Very pleased with this purchase. Light is bright and serves my needs perfectly. Needed a table lamp for a floating end table and sofa but no plug in floor so this battery powered lamp filled the ticket perfectly!

I am so glad I finally found a battery operated lamp of a descent size. All the ones I found were very small not to scale with my table. This one was so easy to put together...maybe 5 mins at most. Takes 3 D batteries. Cant say enough good about it. If wood color doesnt suit. Im sure it could be painted or stained.
