Percy Adjustable Metal Desk Lamp

When the lamp arrived today, it had a scratch on the base.

Sturdy well balanced desk lamp paired with an LED bulb.

Very beautiful!!! And, a perfect to compliment our Frank Lloyd Wright's rendering of Fallingwater print. We think Mr. Wright would approve. Provides great light for our desk. We love it!

Wonderful cross Deco styles; gives it a vintage '20s-'30s vibe. Beautiful shade; angle is good; very little assembly required.

Fits perfectly on my desk and doesn't take up a lot of space.

The dimensions, the photos, and the description (exception below) are spot-on. The package arrived in perfect condition and the lamp works perfectly. The one star: I am 95% sure the shade itself is plastic and not glass, as described. It looks exactly the same as the photos, but a plastic shade knocks about $50-60 dollars off of this item for me. -OR- Just state that the shade is plastic.

This lamp is beautiful, however there is a big safety problem associated with it. I bought one, a few months later the rod where it meets the base snapped spontaneously. I heard a crash from another room. I went into my office to find the lamp collapsed on my desk. Fortunately it was not turned on when it happened. I called Wayfair, they very kindly sent me a replacement free of charge. Last week I went into my office to find it broken again in the very same location on the lamp. Clearly there is a manufacturing defect. I would not trust it if it were turned on. I would be concerned about it being a fire hazard. The other issue is that when it lands on a wooden desk it scratches the surface. I called the company today to suggest they remove it from their catalog as it really is a safety issue.

The lamp works well for its intended location and use. Colours are a little brighter than they appear on the site. Base is nice and heavy. Minus one star because this is the third item recently purchased which was obviously previously returned. Fortunately the lamp arrived in good condition but no mention was made of the fact that I was purchasing a returned item.
