We had this switch model installed for two MinkaAire 6-speed fans we had previously purchased. Excellent control of fan speed and light levels by push of the button, and it doesn't require the remote control making it easy to operate as you enter a room.

This wall controller does not work

Nice Addition to our new MinkaAire Fan. Pairs nicely beside a Lutron Dimmer and Lutron Smart Switch in the same gang box. Put the remote that came with the fan in a drawer and never use it.

This absolutely has to be the most horribly designed light switch and fan control. The buttons are tiny and made of a soft plastic material that I know won't last for long. I can't imagine someone with large fingers trying to work this control! The control takes forever to work and the small blue light at the "on-off" location is bright enough that you won't need a nightlight! The fan speeds don't seem to correspond to the numbers and it takes what I consider a "long time" for the fan to pick up speed. It moves in one direction and then the other like it's trying to get a start, but just can get up the power to do so, but eventually does. This has to be the worst review I've ever given, but I'm being honest. This is a horribly designed fixture that is difficult to use!
