Lampe de table cylindrique moderne laquée

I love the look of this lamp but it has 2 major design flaws. One is that there is no switch on the lamp neck. There is a rotary switch on the cord but it’s placed two feet away from the lamp base. The cord falls behind whatever table it’s on and is out of reach. I resolved it by plugging it in to a remote control outlet. The other design flaw is that the shadebulb housing is on a hinge and flops forward or backwards at the slightest touch. I have no idea why someone would design such a thing. There’s no option to lock it in place. I resolved it by wrapping black electrical tape around the hinge several times. It’s still wobbly but doesn’t flop over any more. The lamp is also much larger than it appears to be and caught me by surprise. Not intended for a small table. Fortunately my dresser is very large. UPDATE: I ended up donating this lamp as the shade would not stay level. I tried using more tape, but then it was just messy looking. Terrible design. I couldn't wait to replace it.

I have two of these they're nice enough but the shade wobbles with barely a touch and looks crooked a lot of times. There is no way to make them tight into place they just sit on top.

They are as pictured, but a bit larger than I expected. Check ratios to your end tables before purchasing.

Tilts over? Lamp is a nice design, but there is a hinge so that the shade and bulb tilt. It ant be set not to and it falls over easily when bumped or turned on or off. Also the switch is sooo far down on the cord that it's unreachable in any configuration. These design defects make it unuseable unfortunately
