Beautiful sconce. A true matte black. Got one to install between two mirrors. Install was simple.

Lovely sconces, look just like the photo online. Removed the stickers and used some goo-gone if needed. Turned out great.

I was disappointed with this purchase. (By no fault of Wayfair) For starters, I purchased this light in the Polished Nickel finish. In absolutely no pictures of any of the different finishes on the website does it show a sticker on the arm of the light. I am very familiar with the clear max wattage warning stickers that come on lamps and light fixtures, however this is the first time I have ever had an issue with a permanent mark being left after removing one. (Yes, we tried rubbing alcohol, krud kutter, vinegar, etc. to attempt to remove the mark) It was not a residue left from the sticker, but as mentioned before a permanent mark on the polished nickel finish. Extremely disappointing. I was told by both the manufacturer and wayfair that “this is a permanent sticker, not meant to be removed”… hmm if that was the case, why is it not shown in the stock photos??? Also, if that is the case, why on earth would you put it right on the very front of the arm?? Who would want a beautiful light with an ugly sticker right in plain sight? I still don’t understand that explanation, but okay. I was given a 25% off discount for my purchase “as is”, returning was not an option because I would just have the same problem with a replacement of the same light. I really like this light and it was exactly what I wanted for the space I purchased it for, but it’s definitely a bummer looking at the mark left on the arm.
