These lights were not as easy to install as I anticipated them being - the other reviewers seem to have had little issue but you DO NEED to be familiar with wiring and electrical safety to install these. Pros: These lights are hefty. They're solidly made and look fantastic. The backplate and shade are a gorgeous coppery gold metal. The swing arm is also metal. 10/10 quality! Everything came nicely organized in the box as well. Cons: 1) These lights are hefty. The shade is a little too heavy for the arm, and the light droops down even when we used the allen wrench to tighten the ball joint it still doesn't stay exactly where one might wish. I think a replacement shade would solve this problem but haven't tried it yet. 2) Not all the pieces came win the box, which is a set of two lights, but only one set of hardware ended up in the box. The instructions are unclear and difficult to follow (except to clearly say to have a professional electrician install the lights). You need to have your own impact driver and screwdriver set to install these, as well as be comfortable wiring them together (the cord comes as a separate piece with copper wires all ready to be twisted together, which was intimidating for me) Overall, I love these lights, but definitely be aware that they do require a bit of electrical know-how to install.

I love the look of these lights and I needed them to be plug in rather than hard wired. Even though the packaging included the plug, it needed a bit of wiring that made me uncomfortable. I just don’t have the skill set to wire anything. So, I had to get some help with that. Otherwise, they are great lights. My client loves them.

The scones are heavy and attractive. Kind of an industrial look, very contemporary. However I didnt realize there was no corded option. Both lights have to be wired and there is only one cord with a switch. Have to hire an electrician to figure it out. Not happening soon.

And….delivered to wrong address AGAIN! But, these are beautiful! Sadly, they are too big for the space I wanted to use them in so I will probably donate and I hope someone falls in love with them because they truly are beautiful. They are well made, can be hard wired or plug-in. Versatile and works with many design styles from traditional to contemporary. Delivery caused the low review

These Latee dimmable swing armed sconces are sooo pretty over the top of each side of canopy bed! I love how modern they make our bedroom look! These Sconces Use Most Lamp Light Bulbs…That’s Very Convenient! The Best Part Of The Sconces Is That They Have Adjustable Moving Arms, So That We Can Move Them In Almost Every Direction Needed, To Read Or Have A Spotlight In Our Bedroom! We Were So Surprised That We Didn’t Have To Do Any Electrical Work In Order To Install These Sconces! My Husband Had To Put Drywall Screws In The Was To Secure The Sconces & Then, He Plugged Them Into The Electrical Sockets & The Electric Strip On Each Side Of Our Bedroom! It Was Just What We Needed! The Only Flaw In These Sconces Is The Ball Centered In The Sconce To Move The Swing Arm. Once I Moved The Swing Arm Down Towards Our Bedroom, The Ball Kept Lowering & Wouldn’t Stay In Place, So We Have To Keep Both Swing Arms Upwards And Move The Gold Shield To Have Lighting For Reading And/Or A Spotlight In Our Bedroom! Otherwise, It’s No Problem! We Love That We Have (2) Beautiful Sconces Over Our Bed! Thank You, WAYFAIR!
