The chandelier is a nice upgrade to the pre-existing fixture, adding a little more elegance. Be aware that there is some assembly required. It arrives in a somewhat flat box, with the candelabra section basically collapsed. It attaches to the central "pole" and you must "fan" out the six arms. You must thread the wiring through the central "pole" and of course the chain. One feature I really liked was "quick links" which allowed for easy chain attachment at both ends--something I haven't seen with the other chandeliers I have hung. Instructions were not as clear as they could be; it was evident there were also some translation issues. Instructions weren't horrible, just suboptimal. Note that it doesn't use crystals as decor hanging from each arm--see photos. I don't like what was provided and will be searching for something more classical and elegant. There's quite a nice length of chain and wiring allowing for a decent height adjustment for your room. I saw conflicting info re the bulb size--you do need the E12 bulbs.
