Very happy with the look of the chandelier. My husband thought the directions were very poor. He is handy and was able to put it together.

As others have noted, there's a bit of assembly required. This wasn't an issue for me, but the biggest challenge was fitting the wires into these small connection boxes. You have to pull back a series of small switches that are hard to pull back, but you have to click them all open for the wires to fit in the holes before you snap them shut. Once the unit was hung, the base looks a bit crooked. A better design would be a heavier counterweight at the base to make it hang straighter and/or a heavier wood used for the center spindle. In all, we like the chandelier, but a few minor design changes would've made it perfect.
