It’s cool. Runs on remote which my electrician built into light switch. You have to hold down light switch to make it dim (because it’s very bright) but it’s good. Only downside is fall is you can’t make the fan switch directions for winter time. The fan does have 3 speeds and is very quiet. It makes 2 clicking sounds when you turn it on and when you change speeds but it’s just those 2 clicks. I think it will match nicely when my kitchen ever gets done.

It’s a good looking fan. The light that comes with it is warm and you can’t really easily change that - which may be important to some people if the rest of the light in your room is daylight. I keep the light off and just use the fan.

This fan is great! I the midst of a master Reno - it’s just perfect! My hubby, who has a Reno business had a little trouble with the install but finally got it right!
