I received this lamp and the finish is not consistent, there is a circular untextured ring towards the bottom of the base on both my original order and the replacement. I ordered a replacement and had the same issue. If I were buying again I'd steer clear of this one.

This lamp would have been so pretty if not for the highly visible band around the middle of the base-it looks like 2 parts were joined together. This was not visible in the picture online. I returned the lamp.
