It’s a pretty floor lamp. Somewhat heavy from the bottom part but my daughter really loved it.

This had a lot of potential but it arrived damaged - there's a chunk missing from the marble base. I was able to put that toward the back so you can't see it, but it's annoying. The main reason for the 2-star deduction though is how difficult this was to set up. The base is HEAVY. There is a threaded, metal dowel that's like an inch and a half long that goes through a hole in the base, into the lower portion of the light pole. There's a nut to tighten it, and a washer as well but you cannot possibly screw the metal thing more than on turn into the base if you're using the washer. It comes with a little wrench that is pointless because you can't really use the wrench in the recessed area on the underside of the base for the screw/nut assembly. When you finally get the lower portion of the pole in, you end up unscrewing it you add the second and third portions of the pole. Third portion wasn't threaded correctly and had to be forced on. Also, have I mentioned the base is HEAVY? Trying to do all of this - prevent the lower portion of the pole from turning while holding on to the base, while screwing in the other portions... this is a two person job. Away from a wall, because of the curve. (So if you plan to put this in a corner, you have to assemble it elsewhere any carry it in.) Also - plan on buying felt or rubber feet/sliders for the base. You cannot slide this across a hardwood floor; it's too rough. Once it was finally in place, it looks nice, but it was certainly pain to get it there!
