Lampe torchère sur pied 71,75 po Escalante

I bought two of these. Great while they lasted! One of them stopped working after about 16 months. I was about to throw it away--after it had sat for a few months and decided to plug it in again. It came on. Tonight it went out again. Frustrating. $150 should mean something. Disappointing. I see others have made similar comments so I thought I should speak up as well.

Exactly what I needed for additional light in my office...the uplighting is perfect for additional light in my workspace.

I like these lamps while they worked (I bought two). However, after a few months, one got very hot and the bulb blew up. I got a replacement. and a few months after that, the switch stopped working. And a few days later, the switch stopped working on the second one. So after one replacement and now three lamps not working, I'm trying a different lamp.

I really like the slim, sleek design of this lamp. I don't want a statement piece, I want ample light and no distraction from the main focus of the room. The one significant draw back is that you must set the dimmer to full light, at any lower level you get a fairly extreme strobe effect from the LED; there is still a slight flicker at 100% but not really noticeable. Another reviewer gave the explanation as to why this, I won't repeat here. So, although I am happy with the lamp, I don't think I can purchase another one.

Easy to assemble, brightness is great.
