Lampe de travail / lecture sur pied 62 po Espinosa

This is a great lamp! I have a narrow nook that holds a custom sleeper sofa. I wanted to put this lamp to the side of the sofa, and I was planning to slide the base of the lamp under the side of the sofa - which is why I was glad that the lamp was inserted into the base off center. (I only had a few inches to work with.) Unfortunately, when the lamp arrived, I realized too late that the sofa had no space for sliding anything under it - it went all the way to the ground. So, I placed it behind the sofa, which wasn't as ideal. Eventually, I moved the lamp to another cozy spot and I love it. It turns off and on with a button at the very top of the 5'2" pole. So, this wouldn't be a great lamp for kids/very short adults to easily turn on/off.

A good reading lamp that is exactly as pictured. I rated it a four due to the fact that because of how you have to put it together, the cord does not come out of the back of the lamp "pole" but comes out of the front. Is it is a bit annoying to have the cord on top of the base. The lamp provides good lighting and is a nice contemporary piece that accents our transitional decor.
