Needed a low-profile light that would blend and enhance. This light was perfect and looks great!

Let me start by saying this is a great, low profile light. We use it for lighting the narrow stairwell going into a dark dungeon of a basement. It has a nice glow and ample brightness for that purpose. Purchased this light as an open box item and it arrived in an unusable condition- the glass was scratched and looked terrible when lit, so we filed a claim with Wayfair who promptly sent a replacement. Luckily, they allowed us to keep the faulty item because the lighting mechanism on the replacement light was also faulty! So, we simply extracted the two working pieces from each purchase and created one usable light. It's the first issue we've experienced with open box items, but will not deter us from future purchases. Wayfair customer service is excellent. I question the manufacturing quality of this item, and gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
