Excellent look and ease of use with the remote. After a few weeks of use, 2 screws loosen on their own and causes the fan to click. They need to be periodically retightened.

Excellent quality. Easy to install. Looks great. Extremely quiet and moves air. Would buy more if needed more.

I love these fans! I bought two of them for my lanai. The speed range is from 1-6. The timer is a great feature is great! I would definitely recommend these to family and friends.

We could not be more pleased with this fan. We have had it over a year and not only does it work perfectly, it looks sleek and modern. The remote is also great. I would highly recommend it.

First off, this ceiling fan is unique. It is a nice step away from the basic look found in most other fans in this price range. That being said, this is not worth $1200 they claim as MSRP. I wouldn't pay more than $250 for it. I don't regret my purchase, though. It is a beautiful piece and I plan on buying more to install throughout my house. The brand of this fan is Sofucor, for reference if you want to compare elsewhere. We will start with the cons. - One of the blades on my unit shipped slightly scuffed up due to poor blade packaging. Not very noticeable though. (See in photos) - The fan does not have a memory function, so if you turn off the light switch controlling the fan then turn it back on, the fan's default is off. You have to use the remote to turn it on again. Not a big deal, I'll just leave the switch on and use the remote. - The remote and transmitter do not use a dip-switch system, they are pre-programmed to one another. Since I don't have a second unit installed yet, I'm not sure how a remote in one room will affect a fan in another. I'll update this review once I find out. - The materials used are decent for this fan, not the highest quality. For the price this gets a pass, and you can't tell once it is up. The blades are a real, lightweight wood though, not ABS or faux. Now to the pros. - As I've said many times already, this fan is stunning. Designer style without the price tag. - It is extremely quiet when running, thanks to the DC motor. I can't even tell it's on by sound. It starts to make a slight whooshing noise at the top 2 speeds, but I find it kind of relaxing. - It pushes a lot of air; does what a fan should do. - Installation was simple, nothing will surprise you if you've installed a couple before. Being an electrician, I've installed countless fans of all different mounting styles, and this is mounted how most other basic ones mount. Here's some side notes to read if you're planning on purchasing: - I installed everything but the blades before hanging, just a personal preference. This makes it an easy 1 person job to lift the motor. - The screws that attach the blades to the motor only had a little more than an 1/8 inch protuding past the blades, so I put some thread locker on them before tightening. They seem pretty solid though so I'm not worried. - This particular model does NOT come with a light kit, or the ability to add one. You would have to find a different remote and transmitter, and possibly rig something up to even get one to work on this model. I personally like the sleek look of non light kit fans, so this was perfect for me. I definitely recommend this fan if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, but doesn't break the bank. I am pleased with my purchase.
