O think the lamp will be fine. It has 3 settings for bright to not as. It’s cool looking. The packing was a nightmare. There were tiny pills of styrofoam everywhere like a rat went to town in the box but no vermin found. The lamp was infested with it to the cord and plug underneath the plastic it was in. Between the base of the lamp and the pad attached for furniture protection was just caked of styrofoam . I had to cut the pad all the way around as there was no other remedy. Styrofoam everywhere. It was so bad I couldn’t recycle the box. Threw the whole works away and had to vacuum everything. I’m not sure if the lamp was worth all that. It’s pretty nice though.

Just buy it! I had this lamp on my watchlist for over a year. In February 2023, I finally purchased one. The lamp was packed with care and ready to use out of the box. Then, in May the lamp was on sale and I couldn't resist, so I bought a second lamp. Now my set is complete and beautiful.
