This is a great little light, but unfortunately it was smaller than I anticipated. It won't work for the space I had picked out for it as a result. It is the perfect size for a closet light, so I will likely try to use it in a closet instead of outdoors. It also could be a good fit for a covered patio if you had a few of these lights lined up. Note the light is hardwired, so you will need to have a junction box installed in order to put up this light fixture. It looks good quality despite the size.

Our original light was old and didn’t cast much light. Being that we live in Alaska and have a lot of darkness from September to April we really needed to change it to something brighter and also more modern. This light really lights up our little porch area. The style matches our home perfectly. It was easy to put in (we do have to paint the ceiling now). We really are happy with our choice.

Light arrived with no issues. Its the perfect size for an entryway or an area where you can have more than one of these installed. It is 5 inches wide and 2 inches high. Installation is super easy with just the two wires and the ground wire. However, I wish there were settings to change the brightness as this light is not very bright at all. If just slightly illuminating an area its great, but if you are looking for a bright light to really light up an area, this is not the light for you. We have some issues with some unsavory characters in our town and need brighter lighting so security cameras work better at night; this light did not work for us for that reason.
