This is a great light. The packaging was simple - but efficient. Everything arrived safely and it looks great on our porch. It provides great light for our porch and away from the door, which has helped keep the insects from flogging the light by the door.

I’m waiting for my husband to hang this up, we’re gonna put it at the bottom of the stairs to the basement where it’s nice and dark and I’m hoping that the motion detector will turn the lights on when somebody’s going up and down the stairs. The glass is fairly thick Not sure about the big hole in the middle but I guess that’s for the motion detector and as you can see, it’s got settings on the side of the base. So to be continued.

I am using this for an outdoor patio ceiling light. It is motion activated and can be set from desk to dawn. I especially like that it is waterproof and uses regular sized lightbulbs. The sensitivity level is easily adjusted.
