Have these hanging above kids twin size headboard. Just the right amount of light to read at night. Really like that it’s adjustable.

My living room has the worst lighting and I am always looking for lighting options. These wall sconces can be plugged in and controlled by the switch on the cord and dimmed by the knob on the base or they can be hardwired into the wall. The shade is solid metal so you only get light from the bottom which is good if you have these mounted at eye level. The light and shade can be tilted for better use. The brushed gold trim is in style right now. I ended up not using them in my living room because they were too bulky, but they work perfect as bedside lights.

These wall sconces come with limited directions. Nothing showing how to mount without it being hardwired. Did a little figuring out but I was able to get them mounted to the wall. I used 2 unfinished wood rounds and painted them black and then mounted the brackets to those. Once you figure out which way you are using, they are pretty nice. Being able to dim the lights over a bed is very nice. The switch to turn them on and off are at a nice place while in bed. The dimmer knob is at the top, so once you figure out what brightness you want, you can just leave that alone. The gold is not too much and gives a nice classy look. Overall, once I figured out how to install, I really like them. Only downside are the directions for not showing more mounting options, which is why I only gave 4 stars.
