The longer I have this lamp, the more disappointed I am. I thought the light coverings were a frosted type of glass, but they are plastic. Plastic makes it look cheap. I suggest NOT buying this lamp. I don’t like the gold either. Again, I thought it was more of a brassy metal gold, but it’s a fake looking gold. Just disappointing.

It’s nice and adds a lot of light to small room, which was just what I was wanting. The only thing I don’t love is the plastic shades, rather cheap looking
