LOVE them!!!! Only thing is the nightlight bulbs are brighter then the reg lamp bulbs

These lamps look nice, but the light in the base is brighter than the light in the lamp and sitting in a chair beside it really hurts my eyes. I need to know if those are the only wattage bulbs allowed.
