Beautiful look, however, when the light/lamp is on a few hours, the knob gets really hot! Afraid of any fire safety issues.

Absolutely Beautiful. My new lamp came well packaged. It was easy to put together. The lamp it self is heavy and very sturdy. It's exactly what I expected. The cord is a bit awkward as it hangs down from the top of the lamp. It's noticable if placed at the end of our desk. This eye-catching lamp is a room game changer.
