This lamp has been on my wishlist for a long time so I finally ordered it when it was on sale. It's OK but not my favorite but not worth paying shipping to send it back. The base and column are substantial and feel well made and I like the dimming knob on the column. However, the grey lamp shade is lighter than I had hoped and there are signs of glue around the rim so I'm not impressed with the quality of it. Also, the cord is ridiculously long so you have to deal with hiding it even though it is clear. There is too much of it to hide under the lamp base. So disappointing for the price paid.
