This was a tough review to write. First, the gold is in fact GOLD plated (meaning, this is not gold brushed). That's fine but may be jarring if you're not braced for it (there were no reviews when we purchased it). A few of the sockets broke during assembly, and taking it apart to replace them is going to be a major endeavor. Wayfair customer service was great, but apparently the manufacturer doesn't do replacement parts... Also, the instructions were quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. It's beautiful now that it's together, but I worry about its longevity based on the install process. It does come with extra crystals.

This is not a good purchase. The frame is misaligned, and four of the light bulb sockets are missing the grooves needed to install the bulbs. As a result, the bulbs cannot be installed.
