These essential added such a personal touch to my new kitchen in our new home. I was looking for something swag yet not over the top, just like the "Baby Bear". And it beautifully fit the area without over taking its place over the island in the center of our kitchen. I have also received numerous compliments as well. I have decided to change all the lighting in our new home because it gives it character.

i hung the shade on a floor lamp. it is really too big for most tables. also you get a better effect with it up high. i really like the shadows that it casts over the walls and ceiling. a truly striking and beautiful addition for any room.

I received my round woven pendant shade in white and I really love it!! It’s a large round rattan shade. It goes perfect in my kitchen. It is modern, yet boho at the same time. I definitely recommend it!

So pretty and easy setup. All you need is a light kit (not included) that you can get at any hardware store. Initially got for my daughter’s college dorm room, but unfortunately, dorm rules and a popcorn ceiling prevented it. Placed it in my other daughter’s room at home and it casts the prettiest pattern on the walls. I used a round Edison bulb, and although the shade is woven, it does soften the light considerably. We previously had a pendant light with an open bulb that gave off the harshest light, which is not an issue with this pendant. We drilled two hooks into the ceiling, one for the pendant, the other for the cord so it runs down the corner of the room. You could also use adhesive hooks if you don’t want to damage the ceiling - I purchased ones that hold up to 40 lbs when the initial purpose was dorm use, however, they will not stick to popcorn ceilings. A very versatile item and can be used in any room.
