My husband has some general electrical knowledge and all I did was assist with lifting it while he installed to the ceiling. It replaced our kitchen island pendant and used a higher lumen light bulb to suit our taste. The rods were durable and did not look cheap.

It came with several extension poles to change the length. We had used the shortest because we have short ceilings. We're in the process of remodeling our kitchen so this will be moved over the sink when that is completed! The light is very beautiful and sturdy and it should last a lifetime! It also has a sticker inside that says it's suitable for damp areas. Thank you for another wonderful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing the Bralee Plug & Play light as a remodel project was not super easy. If we were doing a new construction, I think it would have gone much smoother. But, the new light and a coat of paint changes the whole look of our entry!! Definitely worth the initial frustration.

I guess I misread the product detail because I thought plug & play meant I could just plug it in and be done. I can’t install it on my own but I can’t wait for someone to do it for me.
