Sturdy lamp that adjusts well.

This lamp is pretty much what I was expecting and what I wanted. I have only had it for a short time, so can't say anything about long term usage. It did have a slight problem with a screw head rubbing/scraping one of the metal support (near the base at the bottom end of the springs). But I fixed that by slightly bending the bracket where the spring attaches out of the way. The cord may be a bit short for some, but happened to work out for me. I knew this came with a CFL bulb, but begin 2021, it would be better if they included a LED bulb instead.

The hinge is super stiff. The desk clamp is very iffy.

The clamp repeatedly falls off.

The lamp itself is great, but the attachment piece is shoddy. As a result, the lamp isn't stable and leans in one direction, threatening to fall and not swinging securely. Had to return :(

Perfect for our office. Attaches easily to our desk and springs feel strong so I’m confident it’ll last a while.

Let there be light, I had two lights break in the same week it took several lights to replace the ones I lost and they too up to much space these take up nlittle space & they handle large wattage bulbs.

This lamp is exactly what I needed for my home office desk.

I was thrilled finally to find a replica of my ancient draftsman's lamp, i.e., high-quality, extremely functional, versatile, and attractive. I find this kind of lamp ideal for a desk because it takes up no room at all on the desk, and easily swings anywhere, side-to-side and up-and-down at the touch of a finger. My only complaint is that the holder for my white lamp is black - and, more important, is a little hard to screw tight enough onto the desk. That only becomes important when I want to raise the lamp up fairly high - then the holder lifts off the desk and wobbles a little. I'm willing to work with it though.

I'm a fan of this lamp, though I wish it had more vertical range of motion. It's somewhat vertically limited while clamped to a desk - while it has full 360 degree rotation horizontally, I wish it could point up more. If I had to guesstimate, it probably locks out at ~40 degrees (if the beam shining parallel to the floor is a 0 degree angle). I have colored LED lights so my ideal setup is shining various colors onto the ceiling, which I realize is a non-issue for 99.99% of the buyers of this lamp, so if that doesn't matter to you, this is a 5 star lamp.
