The description of this item starts off as waterproof, but down further down in the details it tells you that the plug isn't waterproof, and the IP44 rating is not "waterproof". Very deceiving. Also, each string has a controller with 8 modes, and when you string the lights together, each controller needs to be toggled to get the entire light string synchronized, which is impractical. And, the controllers are clearly not waterproof. I returned this item.
