Very happy with this lamp. Love the 3-way switch for various brightness options and and the shapely "turned element". Black smooth matte metal but can go more refined and doesn't have to be industrial or farmhouse. It's on the shorter side (as many current floor lamps are), but knowing that, I'd recommend it. You can see the top "seam" where the pole screws together (above the turned area), but that doesn't bother me.

Recently moved and changed my decor. I’ve been searching for floor lamps for months. This lamp looked like it would work so I ordered two. Delivery was spot on, the boxes undamaged, and lamp packed well. The shades were perfect right out of the box and the lamp was simple to assemble by one person - no tools needed. Both lamps stand completely straight and the shades sit level by simply adjusting the swivel that attaches the shade to the harp. The quality is good, the finish is even and well done. The weight of the base is lighter than I would have expected but is sufficient to stabilize the lamp on carpet. Almost a year of searching and found just right lamps for my room!

Love this lamp! Would have given 5 stars but the harp was bent so the finial sat at an odd angle. I was able to correct.
