‘Spotlight’ suggests a fresnel lens which focuses the light beam, which this bulb does, but only somewhat. Usually this task is meant to be accomplished by the lighting fixture, and not the bulb. The bulb is very well made. It is also very bright for 50 watt equivalence, and the warmer temperature is exactly what I’d hoped for. It’s very soothing. Personally for my purposes I am hoping to find an LED fixture or bulb combination which focuses the light beam more.
