Lamp is cheaply made. Lamp shade velcro's together. Lamp base is definitely not heavy. I thought I would be getting a higher quality product since the original cost of these lamps was $399. Not so -

I love these lamps. They are perfect for my decor. They have the features I was looking for: 3 way switch, white shade and higher light wattage. Also very neutral and can fit many styles. I looked at hundreds!
