I was too excited to buy this because I love the style and didn't think to read the reviews... 1) The light makes it look like the inside is painted gold but it isn't. 2) The pictures are deceiving except for the one that has the black background. The light barely goes beyond the inside of the sconce. I'm hoping it'll at least be useful as a nightlight. DON'T THINK YOU'RE GOING TO USE THESE FOR BATHROOM VANITY LIGHTS, at least not the black metal sconce. I don't know about the nickel colored one yet. 3) Just in case you didn't think of it, take notice of the dimensions.
