It really works pretty well and it wasn't too hard to install. It took a little time to figure out how to attach the glass shades, but then it was pretty easy from there to install. The only thing I don't like, and it's a problem with all LEDs, it takes a while for the light to illuminate after the light switch is turned on.

The electric box for the light (part that attaches to wall) is made from cast aluminum (and not just thin sheet metal), which allows the maker to add that nice bevel around the edge. However, there was some pitting on the chrome, which was pretty disappointing. The light is above a tall mirror so the pits are not too noticeable so I'll keep it, but some QC from the maker would have been appreciated. Hopefully the pits won't grow and the chrome won't start peeling in a moist bathroom...

As I am a 100% disabled combat vet, I had to hire an electrician to install this. Whan he was about done I happened to look at the instructions. There is no way to screw the 'two pieces iron sheet to the glasses' as there are no threads to screw into, so Ileft them out. Worse the glasses have no retainer's, so they droop from the holder. The electrician put some tape around the ends of the glasses so they look better, but still look like a 'white trash' install ! I have figured out a way to improve the appearance, but will have to hire electrician to do so.Also there is no switch to make it dimmable.Do Not BUy ,,

Beautiful lights for my bathroom! Not too fussy, just gets the job done!
