The chandelier came packed very well and protected. The electrician asked that we not unwrap the protected wrapping around the crystals until he was ready to install, to keep it in tact. With his schedule, he wasn't able to install for about a month after we received it. Once started, the way the chandelier was built, made it difficult for him to hang with just him and helper. They actually needed 3 people(had to come back a 2nd day with additional help). Once they finally had it installed, we notice that there were quite a few areas that seemed to be sparse and missing crystal strands. There were a few extra included in box & they added them. However, it still wasn't enough to cover the noticeable silver frame showing in several places, where crystals should have been. I contacted Wayfair to see if they could send additional crystal strands, and they said they would put request into the manufacturer & we would hear back in a few days. The manufacturer got back ? asked for pictures, which I sent right away.(see below) When they responded, it was very quick and short that they weren't missing any and thats how it should be, just spread out more. That is definitely not how it was presented in the picture or in stores I had seen similar in person. It could be a beautiful chandelier, but it doesn't look complete with the eyesore of the frame sticking out where it should be beautiful crystals shining. It really cheapens the look of it. Very disappointing!! At this point, it's past the return period, and we had paid for the electrician to wire and install, so we are out of options. Upsetting that we spent so much money for this chandelier and the manufacturer doesn't stand behind it's product! There was a simple solution to this problem by just sending us additional strands to complete the look, and we could be happy with it. Instead they left us wishing we bought it elsewhere. And we are reminded of it every time we look at it! We know they have extra strands, since they had 2 extra included in the box, but they would rather have unhappy customers, then back their product. Beware!!
