Please read specifications very well before purchasing this! These light bulbs are HUGE. Look at my photos. They are not meant for regular lamps but rather for warehouse lamps or flood lamps on a building. I work for a church and we have a big building so I gave them to the Facilities Manager who was super excited and he is installing them in the churchs flood lights as they need replacing. Great item for that but these dont really seem for household use st least not in my house.

These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. I pictured a (not included) adapter, as well as one of these bulbs in use with the adapter in a residential garage standard ceiling light fixture. These are great multi purpose bulbs!

You have to select the two lowest brightness or the two highest on the sliding switch on the bulb. Then you can switch between two brightness levels at a time. Great value as compared to other sources. Once I have the correct sockets I will update their effectiveness.

First of all my fault for not reading the dimensions clear enough. The bulb is huge. My phot compares this bulb to another mogul that was in my lamp and to a regular e26 base. Never the less, I ordered new bases to install in a storage barn. The bulbs are 3-way but they don’t work like a conventional switch. You have to select the two lowest brightness or the two highest on the sliding switch on the bulb. Then you can switch between two brightness levels at a time. The packaging is lacking. It really should have a padded outer box to prevent rough handling like I experienced. Luckily only 1 bulb was shattered.great bulb, awkward brightness switch, and less than optimal packaging.

Great, super bright lamp bulbs. They are huge! Great for outdoor or indoor applications, and well packaged. We have a variety of uses for them. However, you do need to make sure you have the right socket or adapter for them. Overall, great buy! Recommend.
