Hard to get exactly straight up and down on the wall. I also needed to reduce the wattage as a light without a shade at eye level is blinding.

Beautiful lamp, unusual design. Everything was fine with two small issues: the gold cold cover is too short for my needs so a bit of the cord shows above my sofa. Two, the on/off switch is near the plug??!?!?!? Which means that if I plug it in behind the sofa I have to move the sofa each time to turn it on and off. Come on! Let's do better. I found a workaround but this lamp would be perfect with just a little more thought into it.
