Love the originality of the lamp but wish that bulbs could ship more quickly with lamp. I wanted my lamp to hang down further and did ask customer service how I could make that happen, however, no response.

A beautiful piece for our remodeled kitchen. This replaced the early 90's box flouresecnt fixture. Great quality and color and a nice size too! Tried the vintage style light bulbs with it but they did not produce enough light so had to go with good old fashioned incandescent bulbs. I would highly recommend this light. I chose black which is actually more of a dark bronze then actually being black. I love this light and am very happy with my purchase!

Let me just say this to start: the fixture is beautiful. I ordered it in Rust, which is not pictured but I would describe it as the copper that is pictured but toned down with more black/gray metallic color. If you don't want a black fixture but a copper metallic might be too much, go with the rust. I finished it with 5 Kichler 2700k Edison LED bulbs. I went with the 2700k because I have other LED Edison fixtures nearby with the warmer/redder 2000k bulbs. I love the way it looks, so why am I giving it 2 stars? Two things:1.) the install instructions are abysmal. I'm pretty handy and do most things myself in my house. Far from a licensed electrician but i have more than half a clue. You get two pieces of paper, one that goes to the extent of telling you that you need to mount the bracket to the ceiling box, and then explaining that you need to wire nut the wires together. Well, thanks for that. The other page instructs you to attach the fully assembled fixture to the fully assembled bracket and voila, magic! Except you need to disassemble it and somehow reassemble after you wire it while it dangles from the ground wire. 2.) the quality of the parts could be better. The fixture is pretty flimsy feeling and the downrod hardware is not made with care. Parts that should be flat are cut at a 30 degree angle. But it was such a pain to get it installed that it doesn't bother me enough to exchange it. At a cost of $150, it's about 50% more expensive than 3 similar fixtures I've bought at the big box stores, but of lesser quality. My advice to anyone looking at buying this is to do so, but spend the time prepping the fixture before you go up to wire it and understand how it goes together. It will take some fiddling to get 100%. If you aren't handy or can't engineer your way out of some small issues, plan to look for help or look elsewhere for your fixtures. As for advice to this manufacturer: realize that your average wayfair customer is a homeowner/DIYer who needs a bit more than 4 pictures and cryptic captions. And if you're going to charge $150 for this, a bit more QC and care into making it a little more solid would go a long, long way.
