I bought these lights for my small patio. I used a light socket plug to attach the lights to and be able to use my current light switch. By doing this, I can replace my light switch with a dimmer switch. I like this product because first, it is a commercial grade, which means you can add more strings to it as needed. As I build out my patio cover, I will attach more of this same product. The quality is much better as well, and I like that each light has a small loop where I can secure the strings as needed, especially where they might swing and hit anything. The bulbs have such a classic look to them, it really adds to the ambiance. Overall happy with this product and intend on buying more as I complete my yard project.
