These shades need to be assembled. The linen comes rolled up, and needs to be attached to the white metal rings with small white plastic clips. It velcros closed, and the Velcro seam really cheapens the shade if you can’t hide it in the back. The color and texture is nice, but not linen. They will work for my room, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

I ordered the linen drum lamp shade in gray and was sent the incorrect item TWICE. The first item was completely different than what I ordered, and the second arrived in the wrong color. As you can see in the pics, my room and walls are gray and my lamp is gray and red, so this shade doesn’t match. Also, at the price point, I would expect fabric that does not feel like cheap plastic and something that did not require assembly. I do not recommend this item.

Ordered this lampshade thru Wayfair Tried and True and wasn’t sure if I would like it but when it arrived I was surprised at how nice it was and how much I liked it. I know that it will look so good in my sewing room.
