These lamps are pretty and appear to be a good quality, however, once you turn the light on, all you see is the bulb. It doesn't give off that soft ambient glow I was hoping for even with a low-wattage bulb. I think the glass part of the lantern needs to be less clear and have more of a antiqued finish applied to help diffuse the light.

Omgoodness! Love these ...so pretty! One note — these are quite large, so measure carefully.

Gorgeous accent lighting. The toggle switch is high on the chord so it is very easily accessed when lying in bed. Bright but not overpowering. I love the size. Makes them to be a beautiful accent piece even when turned off

So pretty! Larger than I expected them to be but they still worked for my space.
