Janis Resin Table Lamp

So, the open box purchase ($80) arrived today. I was so excited. I opened the box right away. Smashed to smithereens. Tried to contact Wayfair. Not eligible for return. I get that if it had arrived as advertised, but not in pieces. Box looks great so it was that way when it shipped. Did they even check it when it was returned and reselling it? Don't think I should pay for this open box or not. Chat bot didn't respond. No other identifiable way to contact Wayfair - apparently must be done within 3 days. Now I'm getting angry at such poor customer service. The website tells me I can report the problem, but all I get is "This item is ineligible for return." Had a matching lamp at full price, $200+, but have cancelled it after this. I've done lots of shopping with Wayfair, but maybe never again. Accidents happen, but NO customer service contact is unacceptable.

Love It !!! Recently purchased this lamp(open box) for my bedroom...wow it's really big for my bedroom anyway,which it's good I'll be ordering another one they'll be nice in my livingroom.These lamps will do nice in any room and decor. Smiling... my grands call it awesome and nice. Delivery on time like all my purchases.

Nice lamp but very little copper coloring. A disappointment for sure.

Bought 2 of these lamps. A little disappointed that they don't look much like the photo. I think the copper color in the photo is a reflection from the bulb when lit. They actually have very little copper in the finish, which was disappointing. They are primarily black & a dark silver grey. We will keep them because we like the shape and the fact that they are USA made but are thinking about adding some copper via sponge paint to the base

Very nice lamp, but it looks nothing like it does in the picture.

I like the lamps, but the on-line image is NOT accurate. On-line, it looks as though the lamp is a shiny metallic grey, blending to copper at the top of the base. We were surprised to unwrap the packaging material to reveal virtually black lamps with random copper streaks and blotches over the entire body of the base. Also, the shade is really a darker shade than appears - a burlap color rather than cream. Not crazy about that warm color with the cold shiny black... They are pretty enough though, and I have kept them, but the lamp as pictured would have been perfect given my color scheme. The hardware (bulb socket unit) on one of the lamps was bent; I straightened it, and it works.
