These have a soft amber light that fans out from the top and from the bottom. I put one in the outlet inside my front door, and the other in an outlet at the entrance of my hallway. The soft warm glow is just enough to mark the location.

I really like these night lights. The warm 1800K amber glow is soft and not harsh on the eyes, which makes them perfect for nighttime use in the hallway or bathroom. The light sensor works well and turns on automatically when it gets dark. I also like that they’re dimmable so you can adjust the brightness to your preference. They look modern and don’t take up much space. Overall, great value for a 2-pack and I’d definitely recommend them.
